With the special support of Hamza Baig Welfare Society and under the auspices of Aima Welfare Foundation and Anjuman Behbood Marathira and with the support of Jhelum Health Department, especially CO Health Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat, Mega Eye Camp was organized in Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. Former MSDHQ Dr. Shoaib Kayani and other renowned doctors were also present on this occasion. Where all the facilities for eye related diseases were available under one roof.
These included facilities for examination, laboratory, phaco surgery, spectacles, medicine and lunch. This was the first camp of its kind in Sohawa. From where 350 most needy eye patients were examined and treated. Also 50 eye operations were done by phaco surgery.
