About Us
Hamza Baig Welfare Society (HBWS) is a multidisciplinary non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization, which is working to uplift the poorest of the poor communities. The organization was formally established in 2017 registered under the societies’ registration act, XXL of 1860. HBWS is also certified by Punjab Charity Commission and has authorization for its operations in the whole of Punjab. HBWS aims to educate the marginalized communities by building their capacity and provide them good health for better economic and social growth. HBWS has completed several projects on road safety education, Health, Environment, gender, livelihood, and response in emergencies. HBWS has built the capacities of ignored groups of rural communities in different sectors and lead them towards self-reliance. HBWS is facilitating the community with a free ambulance service in District Jhelum.
HBWS remains involved in many advocacy campaigns for the sensitization of target communities. The organization is doing efforts for poverty alleviation, gender equality, child rights, social justice, and sustainable development. The organization is especially focusing on road safety, women empowerment, and primary education. CSP is contributing to positive social and economic change in society. Mr. Tauseef Ahmad Baig formed this welfare society to pay tribute to his only son Mr. Hamza Baig (Shaheed) who lost his life in a deadly car accented in his teenage.
