Deputy Commissioner Jhelum Muhammad Maisam Abbas chaired a meeting of the District Accident Review Committee in the committee room of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
The meeting was attended by Secretary RTA, District Emergency Officer, COMC, CO Health, Axis Highway, President Hamza Baig Welfare Society and other district officials. District Emergency Officer Engineer Saeed Ahmed highlighted the statistics of road accidents, their causes and the places where accidents are happening more.
Deputy Commissioner Jhelum Muhammad Maisam Abbas not only expressed concern over road accidents but also ordered relevant measures to reduce these accidents. He also reviewed the implementation of previous orders. Deputy Commissioner Jhelum orders to improve road clearance at many places to improve the quality of road safety.
DSP Traffic Tariq Shafi gave a briefing on the road safety situation within the city.
