Water for Life Project No. 8 Provides Clean Water to a Vulnerable Family in Rajanpur

Water for Life South Punjab – Project No. 8

Jampur, District Rajanpur: The story of this family is deeply painful. The husband is disabled, while his wife works in tobacco fields for just Rs. 400 a day to support the family.

During the daytime, they have to take shelter beneath trees, exposed to the intense heat and rain. After sunset, concerns about snakes and other dangers force them to return to their uncovered compound. Their home lacks almost every basic facility needed for a safe and dignified life.

Recognizing the family’s difficult circumstances, the Hamza Baig Welfare Society has provided them with a reliable source of quality water under Water for Life South Punjab – Project No. 8 in Jampur, District Rajanpur.

The water supply project was completed at a cost of approximately Rs. 110,000.

The society also hopes, with Allah Almighty’s blessing and sufficient resources, to construct a room and kitchen for the family. The estimated cost of this proposed construction is around Rs. 400,000, which would provide them with basic shelter and a more secure living environment.

The initiative is part of the society’s wider effort to support some of the most vulnerable families in South Punjab by providing essential facilities and helping them live with greater safety and dignity.

May Allah Almighty provide the means to complete this family’s room and kitchen and accept the efforts of everyone contributing to these acts of Sadaqah Jariyah.

Ameen. 🤲
