Due to lack of resources, proper diagnosis, lack of proper treatment, or lack of knowledge, even a minor illness of an ordinary patient in Pakistan has become life-threatening.
And when a diagnosis is made, resources are exhausted.
This was the situation of Aamir, who is the only child and the sole breadwinner of his parents.
He had been bleeding from different parts of his body for a year. There was no resources, no diagnosis, no one even to take him to the doctor for a check-up. Based on the outward symptoms, the doctors suspected cancer.
Hamza Baig Welfare Society continuously showed various doctors CT scan, endoscopy, colonoscopy and finally biopsy was done and samples were sent to Shaukat Khanum Laboratory Lahore… And there was a prayer that Aamir would not get cancer…
Alhamdulillah, the report came from the Shaukat Khanum laboratory, which diagnosed intestinal TB, and on the same day, the doctor checked Aamir and started his treatment, which will be continued, God willing. May Allah grant Aamir a speedy recovery, Amen 🤲
