The recent rains and storm drains from Sohawa to Jhelum Tehsil have caused severe damage of all kinds. In particular, the Banah drain has historically caused immense destruction. The destruction of infrastructure and means of communication and communication is still making it impossible to assess the damage and reach the flood victims.
Hamza Baig Welfare Society strives to always be a source of God’s comfort in times of emergency. The society has barely delivered rations to the victims who have taken shelter in broken houses in Darapur and its surrounding areas, which were and are in dire need, as well as to the victims whose belongings and wheat are lying under the open sky to dry.
To protect them from the rain, 1500 square meters of the best plastic sheets and ropes for tying them were delivered to these people. Even if a person’s hut was destroyed, his shelter was no less than a palace for him. Keeping in mind the severe difficulties of the common people, God willing, along with providing resources, Hamza Baig Welfare Society will make every effort to provide ease to these people lying under the open sky.
In view of the damage, a huge relief operation is needed. Hamza Baig Welfare Society will definitely continue its efforts to provide relief to just a few of these victims.
