This is the area of Basti Ranjha Chah Zahir Wala, Tehsil Shadan Lund, District Dera Ghazi Khan. Around 250 families live here, but the underground water is salty and contaminated, leading to a very high rate of kidney failure and other water-related diseases.
During the 2022 floods, Hamza Baig Welfare Society carried out significant relief work in this area. Later, the residents contacted the society because clean drinking water was extremely rare here. Seeing their suffering, the society took practical steps to help. Alhamdulillah, sweet water was successfully found at a depth of 325 feet. The people of the area sincerely prayed for everyone involved in this Sadaqah Jariyah project.
District Rajanpur and Dera Ghazi Khan are among the poorest and most underdeveloped districts of Punjab. The people living here have extremely limited resources. There are many places in both districts where clean drinking water is desperately needed.
With a cost of only 150,000 rupees, you too can become a source of Sadaqah Jariyah for these extremely deserving communities. InshaAllah, Hamza Baig Welfare Society will carry out this service on your behalf.
