participated.
A detailed review of the possible flood situation in Khudankhushta river Jhelum was carried out. Deputy Commissioner Jhelum expressed satisfaction over the preparations to deal with the emergency situation. Today the water level in Mangala Dam is 1210 feet, whereas last year the water level was 1238 feet on this day. Deputy Commissioner Jhelum described the situation as satisfactory but due to unexpected possible rains there may be an emergency situation for which the district administration is always ready. Also
Urgent orders and reports on major water related issues and urban flooding issues across the district were also requested. Deputy Commissioner Jhelum also described the coordination of all the relevant departments as satisfactory. Hamza Baig Welfare Society also participated in the District Emergency Board meeting as a member.
