Health & Emergency Services
Quality Healthcare and Lifesaving Transport — Free for All Who Need It.
Good health is not a luxury. Emergency transport is not a privilege. For Hamza Baig Welfare Society, these are non-negotiable rights that every human being deserves — regardless of their income, their location, or their circumstances. Through its Health for All program and Pakistan’s first free ambulance service, HBWS has been quietly saving lives across Jhelum since 2017.
Health For All
Health for All — Bringing Care to Those Who Need It Most.
In many developing countries, ill health is the single greatest driver of poverty. Unsafe water and poor sanitation alone kill 4 million people each year. Diseases like Malaria, Hepatitis, and other entirely preventable illnesses continue to claim lives in communities that simply have no access to doctors, medicines, or even basic health education. When someone is sick and cannot access care, everything else falls apart. They cannot work. They cannot support their family. They cannot send their children to school. HBWS is working to break this cycle — one free medical camp, one donated medicine, one family at a time.
What We Do:
- Organize free general medical and eye camps across rural and underserved communities in District Jhelum
- Provide free medicines and financial assistance to patients suffering from chronic and long-term illnesses
- Supply monthly medicine packages to deserving patients who cannot afford ongoing prescriptions
- Deliver mobility and physical rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities
- Develop working liaisons with government primary healthcare facilities to strengthen service delivery for ordinary citizens
- Raise community awareness on personal hygiene, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, and preventive health practices
- Donate essential medical supplies, equipment, and furniture to Rural Health Centers (RHCs)
